Flavors that invoke nostalgia.

A table full of food, everyone under one roof, and the spirit of Diwali. Light wins over dark. Somewhere in the middle of it all, someone hands you a box of decadent chocolates and says, 'This one is for you.'

How We Imagined These Flavors

Rose Cardamom

The first sweet after the evening prayers.

In every Indian home, Diwali has a fragrance - rose and cardamom. They are the soul of our mithai, folded into gulab jamun, shrikhand, kheer and barfi. One breath of them, and you are a child again, waiting at the kitchen door on Diwali night.

While the diyas were being lit and the aarti began, there was another sound coming from the kitchen. Mummy, peeling cardamom pods and grinding them in her mortar and pestle. Tap, tap, tap. That sound meant something sweet was coming, and when the last note of the aarti faded, it was the first sweet pressed into our palms.

We brought that moment back in chocolate. Light a diya. Break a square. Welcome home.

Orange Crunch with Turmeric

The first morning of winter

Diwali always arrived with the first chill of winter, and the first oranges of the season. The fruit carts came piled high, and we’d peel them in the soft morning sun while Mummy saved every peel, laying them out to dry.

Those peels became part of our Diwali morning: the oil bath before sunrise, with a paste of turmeric and sun-dried orange peel rubbed gently onto our skin while we were still half asleep. Our fingers turned gold, and the whole house smelled of citrus and turmeric.

Bright orange. Golden turmeric. A crisp crunch, like the first cold morning of the season. Taste the morning Diwali begins.

Coffee with Cardamom

The last cup of the night

Every Indian celebration ends the same way. With one more cup, and one more story. Long after the last diya burned low, the grown-ups stayed up, cards spread on the living room floor and laughter carrying late into the night.

Someone always went to the kitchen to make beaten coffee, sugar and coffee whisked by hand in a steel cup until pale and frothy, then poured over hot milk. The clink of that spoon is a sound we will never forget. We were supposed to be asleep. We never were.

We captured that feeling with a touch of cardamom: rich, warm, a little grown-up, and sweet at the end. For the conversations that last until morning.

Almond Crunch with Tulsi

The gift of good health

An Indian elder will never let you leave without a handful of dry fruits. At Diwali, every guest was greeted with a steel ‘dabba’ of almonds, cashews and raisins, held out with both hands. They were never just a snack. They were a blessing for prosperity and strength.

All year, Mom soaked almonds every night and peeled them for us every morning, especially before exams. “For your brain,” she’d say. And in the courtyard, a diya glowed beside the tulsi plant, the sacred basil our grandmothers said carried every good wish. Almonds for strength. Tulsi for blessing. Together, in one golden crunch. This Diwali, gift what our elders always gave us: good health, and good wishes.

Spicy Cayenne with Cinnanmon

The sweet needs its spice

No Indian plate is complete with only sweet. Days before Diwali, the kitchen became a factory of love: aunties on the floor rolling dough, chakri and chevdo frying in giant kadhais, and a generous sprinkle of red chilli over every warm, crisp batch. We weren’t allowed to touch them until Diwali. Of course, we did.

Every guest received two plates: one of mithai, and one of spicy, crunchy savory snack to balance all that sweetness. Without the heat, the celebration was never quite complete.

Cayenne for the spark. Cinnamon for the warmth. Dark chocolate for everything in between. A little spice, for the ones who make life interesting.

Why I made this chocolate

I created this chocolate because I wanted something I could feel good about giving to the people I love.

Something pure, intentional, and made with ingredients that nourish rather than overwhelm. What started as a simple desire to blend Ayurveda with the comfort of chocolate has become a way to share a little more calm, joy, and goodness with the world.

Every bar is a reminder that sweetness can be both indulgent and nourishing. After all, it’s not just one or two ingredients—the entire bar is a superfood.”
